After living in NY for 13 years working as a freelance photographer and as fine printer for the Magnum photo agency, Wiseman returned to Mexico City in 2001.

Selected for the XVI and XVII Bienal de la Fotografía in 2014 and 2016 he is also the two-time recipient of Mexico’s prestigious Endowment Of the Arts SNCA/FONCA fellowship (2012-2015 and 2018-2021). His work has also been published in the books; ¨Harvard Design School Guide to Shopping¨ Rem Koolhaas/Tashen, ¨New York September 11 by Magnum Photographers¨ Powerhouse books, ¨Mutations¨ Actar, and "The Endless City" Phaidon/London School of Economics.

His personal work has been published in: “El Super” and “Sonora Magic Market” both by Editorial RM, and “Area Conurbada” by Edition One Books
